Shulker Pocket

Shulker Pocket lets a player carry a shulker box in the off-hand and cycle its contents into the main hand by scrolling, without opening any screen.
What it does
A shulker box held in the off-hand acts as a scrollable tool belt. While sneaking and scrolling, the item in the main hand rotates through the box's 27 slots, so a player can switch tools quickly and keep the hotbar free for other items. Scrolling past the last item returns the main hand to bare hands.
The mod works with any container item in the off-hand, not only shulker boxes. The scroll direction is set by the sneak key bound under the Inventory controls, and the held item's name appears above the hotbar as usual. Shulker Pocket requires Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional. It is published for Fabric only, across 18 release versions 1.20.5 – 26.2, with the latest file 0.3.1+26.2 for 26.2.
Shulker Pocket runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The source code and issue tracker are public, and the swap algorithm is documented in a specification file. Builds are released under the MIT License, but the license line on this page says All rights reserved, so the terms are not open source.

Mining and building
A player can keep pickaxes, shovels and building blocks in one box and switch between them without reopening the inventory.
Multiplayer servers
Server owners who want players to carry tools in a box install the mod on the server and on each client.

Hotbar Pockets uses the same client and server environment and is open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.21.11 – 26.3. Simple Shulker Preview is client-side only and open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, published for 1.18 – 26.3. ShulkerOpener is also client and server and uses the MIT License, but it is not open source and covers 1.21.10 – 26.2.
