Simple Shulker Preview

Simple Shulker Preview shows an icon on top of shulker boxes in inventory slots, indicating what each box holds.

What it does

A shulker in an inventory slot displays an icon of the item it contains, drawn over the shulker's own icon, so the contents can be read without opening the box. A capacity bar also shows how full the shulker is. The icon and display logic can be adjusted in the mod's settings.

Custom-named shulkers can select the icon: a name written with the same identifier used for spawning items, such as minecraft:grass_block or grass_block, shows a grass block. An invalid name falls back to the preview selection logic, unless the icon setting is set to hide icons for unnamed shulkers.

The mod is a Fabric mod and requires YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). Mod Menu is optional. Only the client needs it. It is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source.
