ShortModes lets server operators and players switch gamemodes with short chat commands such as /gmc, /gma, /gms, /gmsp and /gmspec.

What it does

Typing a short command in chat changes a player's gamemode. The commands cover Creative, Adventure, Survival and Spectator, and one command toggles between Creative and Survival. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and it requires Fabric API on the server. Files are published for Fabric and Forge, with releases for 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 and the latest builds dated 2026-07-26.
