What it does

The mod is themed on the Seven Deadly Sins anime and is meant to stay focused on that single series. Its content covers characters such as Meliodas, Zeldris and Elizabeth, along with the Fairy King's forest, Purgatory and items like the Chastiefol, Rhitta, Gideon Dragon Hilt and Lostvayne. Players can pick a race (Human, Fairy, Giant, Goddess or Demon) and gain magical powers tied to it, including Explosion, Lightning, Freeze, Sunshine and Destruction.

The author built the mod to stand apart from others that lean heavily on armor, so its weapons and mobs are the main additions. The Rhitta weapon needs the Sunshine magic to be wielded. A Purgatory portal is built from crying obsidian and lit with a Demonic Flame flint and steel. The author recommends JEI to look up the recipes. The mod requires Pehkui, and the author notes that some features, such as the giant and fairy races, behave differently without it.

Seven Blockly Sins is published for Forge only, with a single build for 1.19.2 (1.0.0, released 2023-06-05). Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is not open source and is released as All rights reserved.

But I wanted a mod which was independent. So I wanted to try making my own mod. After some struggle I was able to make the first version of my…
