The Cardinal Sins
by _Ast0_
The Cardinal Sins is a Forge mod that adds boss fights based on the seven deadly sins, with custom weapons crafted from their drops.
What it does
Over ten new bosses are added to the world. Seven of them are modeled on the seven deadly sins, three are mythical creatures, and the final boss is Lucifer. Each boss sits in a fixed biome and structure, such as a floating island in the forgotten forest, a castle in the taiga, a catacomb underground, or a colosseum in the snowy plains. Bosses are challenged in a set order, from Sloth to Atrocity, and the Sin of Sloth is summoned with an item obtained from a boss.
Defeated bosses drop materials for crafting unique weapons with abilities, which strengthen the player for the next fights. Malevolichite Ore, found in blue-lit pillars in the forgotten forest, yields shards used for crafting weapons and for summoning the first boss. The mod is published for Forge only, for 1.19.4 and 1.20.1, with 1.0.3 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, and it is not planned for other versions or for Fabric. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The mod is All rights reserved and is not open source.
