Servermatica
by my-daarlin
Servermatica, a Fabric companion to Litematica, adds server-side support for placing schematics on multiplayer servers that run Carpet.
What it does
Servermatica handles several places where Litematica's schematic placement fails on a server. A server-side handshake lets the server recognize clients that run Litematica and cooperate with block placement. Large schematic upload packets, which some servers reject, are split into smaller pieces so they can be sent over a standard connection. Interaction with crafter blocks is corrected so that Litematica places them as intended.
The mod requires Carpet, Litematica and MaLiLib, and works alongside Carpet where it is present. It is client and server: the server and every player need it for full functionality. Servermatica is released under the MIT License and is open source. Files exist for 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2, and the latest Fabric file is 1.2.1 for 26.2, published 2026-09-19.
Key features
Placing without item switching
Schematic blocks can be placed without switching items by hand, with the server confirming the client's Litematica use.
Packet splitting
Large schematic upload packets are divided into smaller ones, so servers that reject oversized uploads can still accept them.
Crafter fixes
Litematica's interaction with the crafter block is corrected during placement.
Accurate material counts
Material List reports block counts for placement tasks that match what will actually be placed.

Use cases
Building on multiplayer servers
Players who load schematics on a Carpet server can upload and place them with the server's cooperation.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want Litematica schematics to work on their server, and players who build from schematics on those servers.
How it compares
Litematica Material Filter is client-side only, open source under the MIT License and published for 1.21.11 – 26.3, so it does not need server support. Litematica Easy Place Indicator is client-side only, under All rights reserved, and covers only 26.2 – 26.3. Item Splitter is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and has files only for 1.21.11.
