Roleplay Simple Voice Chat is a Fabric addon for Simple Voice Chat that adds range controls for in-character speech.
What it does
Players can change how far their voice carries from a set of ranges, including whisper, normal and shouting. The range can be cycled with a key binding, and a held item can amplify the range of spoken words. A sneaking player switches to a separate voice range, so quiet speech stays close to the speaker.
A range preview shows the area in which people will hear the player, which helps when setting up a scene. The addon depends on Simple Voice Chat, so that mod must be present alongside it. Roleplay Simple Voice Chat runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.19.2, and the MIT License covers the open source code.
