Restrictions
by McJty
Restrictions, a McJty mod for Forge and NeoForge, adds three basic blocks that push, pull or move entities in set directions.
What it does
Each of the three blocks moves entities nearby, and the direction depends on the block. One attracts entities toward it, one pushes them away from its front face, and a transparent One Way block forces entities to travel in a single direction. A block only acts while it receives a redstone signal, and its reach matches the strength of that signal.
Entities covered include mobs, items and players. The effect can be used to move a mob away from a spawner, or to build an upward elevator for quick vertical travel. Restrictions has a simple, vanilla-styled look and adds no new items or tools beyond its blocks.
Restrictions requires McJtyLib, and The One Probe can show extra block details when it is installed alongside it. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, and the code is under the MIT License, which makes it open source.
Key features
Attracting blocks
One block pulls entities toward its face while it is powered, with a reach equal to the redstone signal strength.
Pushing blocks
A second block pushes entities away from its front face under the same signal-based range rule.
One Way transparent block
A transparent block forces entities that touch it to move in one fixed direction.
Elevator and spawner use
Players can build fast upward elevators or move mobs out of a spawner area with the blocks.

How it compares
Restrictions is a Forge and NeoForge mod that uses redstone to move entities, released under the MIT License. TC Wireless Redstone is a different tool for sending redstone signals wirelessly, with files for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge 1.12.2 – 26.3 under the Apache License 2.0. Ranged Wireless Redstone covers Forge and NeoForge 1.20 – 26.3 under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and is also a wireless signal mod rather than an entity mover.
