reden-mev
by Dalinnar
Reden-MEV connects players to the Minecraft Engineers Vault (MEV) directly from inside the game, for redstone builds taken from that community.
What it does
Pressing F6 opens the mod's GUI, where a search can be started to browse the MEV catalog of technical builds, farms and redstone mechanisms. Selected entries can be fetched in the same window and placed into the player's own world without leaving the game.
Entries include schematics as well as full worlds, so a complete example build can be loaded and studied. The mod is aimed at players who build redstone contraptions in their own worlds and want access to expert-level designs from the TMC redstone engineering community. Reden-MEV requires Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, Litematica, MaLiLib and oωo (owo-lib), and it runs on Fabric for 1.21.4, with files also covering 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1.
Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. Files cover game versions 1.20 – 1.21.4 and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, which makes it open source. The latest file, 1.0.2-1.21.4, was published on 2025-04-05.
Key features
In-game MEV browser
A GUI opened with F6 lets the player search and browse Minecraft Engineers Vault builds without a web browser.
Schematic access
Schematics can be fetched from inside the game and loaded to place a build in the player's world.
Full world access
Complete worlds from the vault can be fetched alongside schematics, so a whole build can be explored in context.

Who it’s for: Players who build redstone contraptions, farms and technical builds in single-player worlds, and who want to use designs from the Minecraft Engineers Vault.
How it compares
Build Library is a Fabric library for 1.21.11 that is client-side only and is not open source, under the MIT License. Vault Manager is a Fabric client-side mod for 1.21 – 1.21.10, open source under the MIT License, and it covers a different part of vault handling. Infinity Vaults is open source under the MIT License and is server-side only for 26.1 – 26.2, so it runs on servers while Reden-MEV runs on the client.
