RecipeExport
RecipeExport adds a dumprecipe command that writes every crafting recipe of a chosen mod to JSON files on the server.
What it does
Running dumprecipe in a world, with operator permission, exports the recipes of the specified mod as recipe data JSON files. Shaped and shapeless crafting recipes are both covered, and each exported file is written to its own location so the output can be inspected or reused in another project.
Exported recipes are grouped by category, and a summary file lists the recipes for each category alongside the separate recipe files. The export keeps the file path used by earlier versions, so tools that read the old location still find the output. It runs on the server alone, so players need nothing extra to join.
RecipeExport is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Files cover 15 release versions 1.21 – 26.1.2, and the latest build for each loader is 1.1.0, released on 2026-05-06.

Use cases
Data pack work
Modders and pack authors can read the exported recipe JSON as a reference when writing their own recipes.
Recipe auditing
Server owners can list the crafting recipes a mod adds before deciding what to keep in a modpack.
Who it’s for: Modpack makers, data pack authors and server owners who need a readable copy of a mod's crafting recipes. Players who only want to play with the mod do not need it.
How it compares
Data Dumper is server-side only, open source under the MIT License, and covers 1.20 – 26.1.2 on the same four loaders, so it reaches older versions than RecipeExport. Resource Explorer is client-side only and open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with files for 1.20 – 1.21.5, and it runs on the client rather than the server.
