RadioFM
by FAMJAM
RadioFM lets a player place a radio block that broadcasts music to everyone nearby, and it also plays tracks through a voice chat mod when one is installed.
What it does
A radio is crafted as an item and can be placed as a block. Players set the track source from YouTube, SoundCloud, Dropbox or Discord direct links, then open the radio screen to see the playing track, move the next track up or down in the queue, and adjust the volume slider. Right-clicking the radio switches it on, and shift with right-click opens its settings. Holding the radio in hand and placing it works the same as placing it as a block.
When Simple Voice Chat or Plasmo Voice is installed, a player can pick one of them as the output channel, so the music plays through that voice chat instead of the world. Without a voice mod the radio plays through its own channel. Players can name tracks and show subtitles, and the range of the broadcast is set by shift with the mouse wheel, with ctrl making the steps finer. A radio item can be given to a player with a command. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
Installation covers NeoForge builds for 1.21.1 only, with 1.3.0 as the latest file from 2026-10-07. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice are optional dependencies.
