Quality Equipment introduces equipment in several reforge types, and players combine a piece with a repair item at a reforging station to reforge it.
What it does
Reforging is the core mechanic: a tool is combined with a repair item at a reforging station, which upgrades the piece to a new reforge type. The set of reforge types is wide, and the materials that count as repair items are defined per equipment piece in the config. Where no material is set for a piece, a global reforge material fallback applies, and repair items can also be overridden for equipment that has none.
The mod is built for Forge and NeoForge only, on 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Qualities is supported alongside Curios and Baubles, and an emerald ring or emerald amulet case from those bauble mods can take part in reforging. Quality Equipment is licensed as All rights reserved and is not open source.

Equipment can be reforged into a range of quality types, each changing the piece in a different way.

Items such as emerald rings and emerald amulet cases can be reforged with emeralds when bauble mods are installed.
