Prismatic Gems adds five gem tiers, Sapphire, Nephia, Ruby, Enderite and Onyx, each with its own ore, tools and armor set for Fabric.
What it does
The gems slot between the vanilla tiers: Sapphire sits between iron and diamond, Nephia between diamond and netherite, Ruby between netherite and Enderite, and Onyx closes the line as the endgame tier. Each gem has its own ore, a gem item, five tools and four armor pieces, so a full set can be worn at each step.
Ores generate where they fit the rest of the world: Sapphire deep underground like diamond, Ruby in high mountain biomes, Nephia in the Nether's crimson and warped forests, Enderite as a glowing crystal in the End, and Onyx hidden near bedrock where it is brutally rare. Ore drops respect Fortune, Silk Touch needs the right pickaxe tier, and Onyx shards combine with diamonds into an onyx ingot that upgrades Enderite gear. The mod is built for Fabric and needs Fabric API. Prismatic Gems is licensed under the MIT License and is not open source. It runs on client and server, and its files target 26.2 only, with 0.1.0 as the current build.

Each gem has five tools and four armor pieces, and the full set keeps the gem's combat and defensive bonuses.
Combat bonuses
Sapphire reduces damage from aquatic mobs, Nephia reduces fire damage, Ruby reduces fall damage, and Enderite reduces damage from endermen and the dragon.
Onyx upgrade path
Four onyx shards and four diamonds craft an onyx ingot, which serves as the template for Enderite gear.
Enderite bonus pearls
Killing endermen can drop bonus ender pearls, and Enderite tools and armor carry the same bonus enchantment in a higher tier.
