PowerRocket is a Fabric utility for elytra flight, with six rocket tiers, an elytra boost and automatic protection features.
What it does
The mod adds six rocket tiers for elytra flight. Each tier is crafted from paper, fire charge and gunpowder, with later tiers built on the previous one. A boost action fires a rocket while gliding, and a separate option can start the boost automatically once the elytra is in use.
Safety features cover common falls and mishaps. Landing swaps the chestplate for the elytra once a glide ends, and a rocket is launched upward when the player drops past the bottom of the world. Creative flight is off by default, and creative-mode players cannot fly with the elytra either.
PowerRocket is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Files exist for 1.21.1, 1.21.11 and 26.2, with 26.2-1.3.0 as the latest Fabric file, published on 2026-09-13. The mod was first published on 2026-05-28.

Six rocket tiers
Rockets come in six tiers, with each higher tier built from the one before it and the same paper, fire charge and gunpowder base.
Flight controls
Gliding keys map W and S to pitch and A and D to yaw, giving direct control of the elytra while airborne.
Automatic level out
Holding Space for 20 ticks levels the glide out automatically, so a player can recover altitude without manual correction.
Cancel glide
Pressing Backward, S and Jump, Space together cancels the elytra glide at once.
Customizable HUD
Flight systems display on a HUD that players can customize to show the readouts they need.
