beyondheights
by jfyx2025
Beyondheights, by jfyx2025, raises the world height limits so terrain can extend up to 2032 and down to -2032 without loading the extra chunks in the vertical direction.
What it does
Beyondheights lets a world use a taller vertical range than the default -2032 to 2032 span when the height settings are changed. Its dimension height values are set in a config file, and a data pack can generate the same settings, with saves marked to keep the new limits. If the entered values are invalid, the height stays at the default range.
The mod is a Fabric mod for world generation and runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Installing it on a server adds the taller limits for every world it hosts. Another terrain mod that also changes height limits can conflict with it, so the two should be tested together before use.
Beyondheights is published for Fabric only, for game versions 1.20.1 – 26.3, and is released under the MIT License, which is not open source. The newest file, 26.3-1.3.0, targets 26.3 and was published on 2026-09-19.
