Poof Sounds replaces the sound a mob makes when it dies with a poof effect, for a cursed, cartoonish change to combat on Fabric.

What it does

Poof Sounds adds a poof sound to mobs when they die. Resource-pack makers can overwrite the sounds.json file to swap in their own poof sounds, and a data pack can change which mobs play the effect through an entity type tag. The mod is client-side only, so a server does not need it. It requires Fabric API, and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) is an optional dependency. Files exist for 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 1.21.5, with 1.3.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest, and the code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later.
