Pokemon Fair Catch
by Krei
Pokemon Fair Catch blocks players from catching wild Pokémon that are higher level than their party's maximum level, as an add-on to Cobblemon.
What it does
Cobblemon must be installed alongside the mod on Fabric or NeoForge. When a player tries to catch a wild Pokémon, the mod compares that Pokémon's level against the highest level in the player's party and refuses the catch if it is higher. Both client and server need the mod, and it targets 1.21.1 only, with the latest files dated 2025-12-04. The code is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Level-based catch limit
Wild Pokémon above the highest level in the player's party cannot be caught.
Party-based check
The limit follows the player's current party, so raising the party's level raises the level of Pokémon that can be caught.
Single-purpose design
The mod changes only the catch rule and adds no other Pokémon, items or screens.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

What the author says
This mod disallows you to catch any wild pokemon who's level is higher that the max level in your party. That's pretty much it. The mod icon is an AI-generated placeholder and will be replaced with a more apt image much later.
