Pigzilla
by stevered404
Pigzilla adds a giant pig that stomps and bites its way through nearby mobs, and a smaller biting pig that grows into it after feeding.
What it does
The pigzilla has two attacks. The stomp sends shockwaves out from the mob and triggers a quake that hits every mob in range and throws them into the sky. The tusk attack lifts targets into the air, bites those still above the ground for extra damage, then stomps and produces the same shockwaves and quake.
The biting pig looks like an ordinary pig but eats living things with a strong jaw. After feeding on several mobs it evolves into a pigzilla, so players who find suspicious pigs have to deal with them before they grow.
Pigzilla needs Citadel and Geckolib to run. It is published for Forge and NeoForge on 1.20.1 only, with the latest file, 1.4.1, released on 2024-10-17 on the beta channel. The mod runs on client and server, and the code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Stomp attack
Shockwaves spread around the pigzilla, and a quake damages every mob in the radius and throws it skyward.
Tusk attack
Mobs thrown into the air are bitten before the pigzilla stomps the ground, taking extra damage.
Biting pig evolution
Biting pigs look like normal pigs and turn into pigzillas after killing several mobs.
Pig-themed horror
The mob set is built around the pig, so the creatures stay recognizable while behaving as threats.
