PerceptiFrame
by KarmaSpace
PerceptiFrame cuts the render cost of small entity details that players rarely notice, so crowded scenes can run at higher frame rates.
What it does
Rather than a fixed rule set, the mod measures how long each entity feature pass takes on the CPU and learns a cost model from those timings. A scheduler then compares that measured cost with the projected on-screen size of each entity type, so the work that adds the least visible detail is the first to be trimmed. Eight safe warm-up samples are collected per entity type before the model is used.
When the Maximum FPS mode is switched on, extra layers with the lowest visibility and highest cost are removed, while base entity models stay visible. The effect is most noticeable in crowded places such as mob farms, multiplayer hubs, trading halls and armor stand displays, or any area with many equipped entities.
PerceptiFrame requires Fabric API and runs on the client alone, so a server needs no installation. Mod Menu is optional and adds a Configure button for the settings screen, which also opens with F10. The mod is published for Fabric only, for 1.21.11, under the MIT License; the code is not open source.
Key features
Self-learning performance model
Real CPU time of each entity feature pass is measured and used to build a moving cost estimate.
Maximum FPS mode
Work with the highest measured cost and the lowest visible value is dropped first, within a target frame budget.
Pixel-based detail prioritization
Each entity type is compared against its projected screen size, so distant or small entities lose detail first.
Adaptive shadow and layer protection
Entity shadow optimization can be tuned, and nearby outlined entities and optional player equipment layers can be protected from removal.

What the author says
PerceptiFrame is a standalone client-side Fabric optimization mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 with a self-profiling render-cost scheduler. It measures the real CPU time of individual entity feature passes, learns a moving cost model for every entity type, and compares that cost with the entity's projected screen size…
