With Old 2D Items, dropped items are drawn as flat two-dimensional sprites, the way older Minecraft versions displayed them.

What it does

Old 2D Items changes how items look on the ground and in the world, turning them into flat billboards that face the screen, as older Java Edition and Pocket Edition releases displayed them. The restored look is meant to keep items readable from any angle. The mod runs on the client alone, so servers need nothing installed, and it requires MidnightLib and Ornithe Standard Libraries. Its code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal and is open source, and files target 1.21.11 – 26.1.1.
