NC's Revive
by NumaCrystal
NC's Revive lets a downed player wait for help in a critical state, and gives other players a short window to revive them through a quick mini-game.
What it does
When a player goes down, they enter a critical state instead of dying at once. The player has 30 seconds before death. While waiting, the player can try to revive themselves by completing a simple mini-game, and each attempt that succeeds gives another chance to get back up. The mini-game is a timing task where the player hits the center of the screen, in the style of Dead by Daylight.
Another player can revive a downed player by staying near them and completing the same mini-game, so help can come from a teammate instead of the player alone. Losing the mini-game shortens the time left before death. The mod fits survival and adventure play, and multiplayer groups where players look out for one another.
NC's Revive is a Forge mod released under the BSD 2-Clause License, and it is not open source. It requires Client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover Minecraft 1.17.1 – 1.20.1 across 11 release versions, and the latest Forge file is 1.20-1.2-RELEASE for 1.20.1.
