No Enchant Cap
No Enchant Cap lifts the usual limits on the vanilla enchanting system, so anvils and enchantments can go past their standard caps.
What it does
Enchantments above level 10 display their level correctly, and anvils no longer stop at the Too Expensive limit. Anvils can also push an enchantment above its normal maximum level, and repair costs no longer rise with the item, while experience costs are scaled more fairly at high levels. Players can mix enchantments on the same item.
The mod is off by default and is adjusted through gamerules, which let server owners and single-player players choose which of these changes apply to their enchanting experience. Image examples of the changes are on the project wiki. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.
The mod requires Fabric API and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.18.1, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2 and 1.19.3, with 2.2.6 for 1.19.3 as the latest build for Fabric, Forge and Quilt.
Key features
Higher enchantment levels
Anvils can raise an enchantment above its usual maximum level, and the displayed level stays readable.
No Too Expensive limit
Anvils keep working past the usual Too Expensive threshold, so heavily enchanted items can still be combined.
Mixed enchantments
Several enchantments can be placed on one item, with the combinations controlled by gamerules.
Adjustable gamerules
Gamerules let players and server owners tune which enchanting changes apply, and the mod is off until enabled.
