Nice Things
Nice Things is a loose collection of small vanilla-feeling additions, covering items, blocks, recipes, structures and minor gameplay tweaks.
What it does
Its content is split across several areas. It adds blocks and items such as display cases, conveyors, fans, choppers, containers and a wrench, along with a biome, new brews and more food. Villager outposts and End ships gain decorative structures, and recipes and villager trades are extended, including a new crafting recipe with a stonecutter and extra trades.
Smaller changes cover climbable chains, mining tweaks and cosmetic adjustments. Server owners install the mod on the server, and players may join without it, since only the server has to run it. PaperMC users need the allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards option enabled in the Paper config for everything to work properly. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, for 26.3 and earlier builds from 1.21.9 onward. It is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.

Use cases
Decorating a base
Display cases and themed structures give builders more objects to place in villages and bases.
Adding minor automation
Conveyors, fans and choppers allow simple item handling without large contraptions.
Who it’s for: Players who want small additions to vanilla survival, and server owners who run Paper and want extra blocks and structures without a large overhaul.
How it compares
Climbable Chain is not open source, released under All rights reserved, with files for 1.16.5 – 26.3, and it needs the server while players may skip it. Nice Village Names is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, but targets 1.21.3 – 1.21.5 and only changes village names. Nice Creeper Tweaks covers creeper behavior on the same versions and license.
