Nexus is a Forge and NeoForge minigame in which up to six teams defend their own Nexus block while attacking the others, played on the same server.

What it does

Nexus adds a team-based tower defense game mode. Each team guards a Nexus block, and the destruction of a Nexus happens in several phases before a team is eliminated. The mode is set up in-game, and a description of how to configure a match is available from within the game. The mod is configurable, so server owners can change the rules of a match, including whether players who lose their team switch to spectator mode and whether players attacking a Nexus are marked through walls.

Installation needs Magma Core. Nexus runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 21 release versions, 1.18 – 1.21.10, and the code is released under All rights reserved. Continuity, GuideME, MoreMcmeta Emissive Textures, Multi Mine, Patchouli, Shimmer and Supplementaries are optional and extend the experience. Multi Mine is suggested for more team play.

Yes. Magma Core is a required dependency, and it must be installed next to Nexus on Forge or NeoForge.

This mod is an enhanced standalone version of the "Nexus" block from Age of Weapons, which allows you to play a team-based tower defense game mode against other players! I suggest that you use MultiMine for more team play with this mod.
