Shimmer is a client-side library that adds bloom effects and colored light to rendering, configured through JSON files or a Java API.

What it does

The mod concentrates on rendering effects, providing bloom and colored light that can be adjusted per setting. Configuration is available both as JSON files for users without code and through a Java API for developers. A configuration GUI allows quick changes in game.

Shimmer requires Fabric API and is published for both Fabric and Forge, covering 10 release versions across 1.18.2 – 1.20.6. It is open source under the MIT License, and only the client needs it.
