SmartPot is a Forge and NeoForge utility that explains, inside the Crock Pot screen, which recipes can be cooked and what each one still needs.
What it does
SmartPot works as an addon to the CrockPot mod, and its screen appears once a player opens the crock pot. A panel in the upper right lists candidate recipes, and scrolling the mouse there changes which recipe is previewed, selected by clicking. The lower right panel describes the chosen recipe in detail: why it cannot be cooked yet, and which requirements are already met.
Requirements are colored: green marks a met requirement and red an unmet one. A horizontal line separates a composed requirement from the parts that make it up, and a vertical line groups them. Status symbols show whether each sub requirement passes. The left and right area shows which items in the pot match the recipe, and hovering a requirement shows a tooltip with its contributions.
The mod is available for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It is client-side only, so servers do not need it, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, making it open source. Its source code and issue tracker are public. The visibility of the button and its position can be changed in the config.

Use cases
Figuring out a stalled recipe
A player with a crock pot full of ingredients can open the screen to see which requirement is still missing.
Browsing candidate recipes
Players can cycle through the recipes the current ingredients could match and compare their requirements.
Who it’s for: Players who use the CrockPot mod and want to see why a recipe fails. The screen is available alongside the standard inventory interface.
