Neutrality Redux
by Daniil_White
Neutrality Redux, a NeoForge remake, lets players befriend Illagers and villagers and build redstone golems by placing a body, legs, a redstone core head and two arms.
What it does
Neutrality Redux is a remake that centers on interaction, friendship and development with the Illager race. Players assemble a redstone golem by spreading its legs, placing the body above the block between them, then adding a redstone core head and two arms, and right-clicking to create it. Items are described with notes on their purpose, and an ancient statue interface gathers the arrangement of items in one place.
The mod keeps track of the consequences of a player's actions toward Illagers and villagers over a longer period, so later encounters depend on earlier choices. Golems created this way can deal with attacks from hostile groups. Progress is shown through the mod's own sequence of achievements and tips. The mod is in an active stage of development and has been supplemented many times since its release.
Neutrality Redux requires Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it. It runs on NeoForge and is published for 1.21.1 only, with the latest file 1.8.4 for 1.21.1 from 2025-03-15 on the alpha channel. Both the server and every player need the mod, and the code is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
