NeonLight, a NeoForge block mod for 1.21.1, adds a single glowing Neon Sign block in 17 colors for building large lettered and symbolic displays.
What it does
The mod contributes one block, the Neon Sign, which glows and can display upper and lower case letters, numbers and a range of symbols. Neon Signs that share a color connect to adjacent signs, so several blocks can be joined into large displays. A sign can be switched off with redstone, and each sign shows one symbol at a time.
Blank Neon Signs are crafted from an iron ingot, a glowstone dust and a dye, and four Neon Signs plus one dye recolor a sign. The Glowstone Wrench is used to customize a sign and to change the symbol and color of existing ones, and drawing shapes is possible with collections of blank signs. Installation requires NeoForge only, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. NeonLight is published for 1.21.1 alone, and the code is not open source, with all rights reserved.
