What it does
ModpackUtils is a Management and Utility mod for modpacks, with a set of small notifications that the pack author can customize. Chat welcome messages are sent each time a player joins a world, and the modpack name and installed version are filled in automatically. Notification toasts show once on the title screen right after loading finishes, covering modpack update alerts and RAM allocations that sit under the pack's minimum. A custom title can replace the game window title, and a plain text line can be shown on the title screen instead.
The mod runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players install it on their own copy of the pack. It requires YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) on every loader. Files target game versions 1.20 – 1.21.5 for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is released under the Apache License 2.0, which makes it open source. The source code, issue tracker and wiki are all public, and the first release dates from 2024-11-05.
