MusicalLib is a Forge library that lets other mods add new music discs to the game with little code.

What it does

Small library that lets other mods add new discs with little code. It also gives vanilla-friendly ways to obtain discs, using sheets and empty disks at a recorder, and adds several tags to help other mod creators. Client and server both need it, since it runs on each side. Builds exist for Forge only, for 1.19.4 and 1.20.1, under a custom license that is not open source. Amazing Digital Discs requires it.

Key features

  1. Disc registration

    Other mods can register new music discs through a small set of calls, using the same system MusicalLib uses for its own discs.

  2. Sheet-based crafting

    Sheets match a pattern tied to each disc, so crafting a specific disc yields a random sheet for that disc.

  3. Hand-click obtaining

    Players obtain discs by right clicking with the hand, keeping the process close to the way vanilla discs are handled.

Also adds way to get all vanilla discs and adds multiple tags to help other mod creators use the same system as me. Recorder: Its a block used to record discs using sheets, just hold a blank disc and a sheet in your main-hand and off-hand and right click on a recorder to use
