Monarchs

by joshieman

Monarchs turns factions into a rule-based system on Fabric, where one member holds a crown and the others can take it when the monarch dies.

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21 – 1.21.1

What it does

Monarchs adds a faction system built around crowns, swords and other unique items. A player becomes Monarch by taking the crown, and the monarch can choose a monarch type and buffs suited to the faction's strategy. When a Monarch dies, the crown drops, and a faction member who picks it up can take the role or hand it back to the original monarch. A non-faction member who picks up the crown disbands the faction, and its members must reconvene. Killing enemies and other Monarchs earns several advancements.

The mod runs on Fabric for 1.21 and 1.21.1, and it requires both the server and every player to have it installed. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Crown succession

A dropped crown passes to a faction member who picks it up, who can accept it or return it.

  2. Monarch types and buffs

Each monarch chooses a type and buffs to match the faction's approach to conflict.

  3. Rose Gold Circlet

The Rose Gold Circlet is an equippable item that marks the wearer as the Monarch.
