Gallant Gauntlets adds gauntlets that players wear in the off hand, a new weapon and armor class that trades speed for damage.
What it does
Gauntlets are a Fabric equipment item that combines attack damage and an armor value. Each gauntlet strikes with faster attack speed but less damage than a sword of the same type, roughly half, and a pair grants armor equivalent to a pair of boots. Right-clicking a player with a gauntlet in the left hand attacks even while another weapon is held in the main hand.

Gauntlets can be used in the offhand, as well as the main hand. By right clicking, players can attack with a gauntlet in their left hand, even with another weapon in their main hand. Gauntlets do about half the damage of swords of the same type. Gauntlets also provide armor equivalent to a pair of boots (each).
