Mob HP Display
Mob HP Display is a Fabric mod that draws a mob's health above its head so players can read it at a glance during fights.
What it does
Mob HP Display shows the health of nearby mobs as floating text positioned cleanly above each mob's head. It reads mobs within about 6 chunks of the player, so enemies in a farm or a cave are visible without looking them up one by one. The display is kept minimal to avoid cluttering the screen.
The mod is lightweight and runs only on the client, so servers and other players are not affected. Keybinds and a config file are included, and the mod is built with a focus on performance, though rendering many labels can cost some frames. It is published for Fabric on 1.21.1 only, under the MIT License, and is not open source. Fabric API is needed to run it.
Mob HP Display fits survival worlds and PvE farming setups, where tracking mob health during a fight is useful. Because it changes only the local view, it can be added to a single-player world or a multiplayer client without any server-side install.
Key features
Health above mobs
Each nearby mob shows its current health as a label placed above its head, updating as the fight goes on.
Wide detection radius
Mobs up to about 6 chunks away are labeled, so health can be read from a distance without walking closer.
Minimal display
The labels are small and plain, keeping the screen readable without filling it with extra information.
Keybinds and config
Keybinds and a config file let the player adjust how the health labels are shown.

Use cases
PvE farming
Farm operators can check how much health a mob has left while a grinder or kill chamber runs.
Survival fights
During a hard fight, the health label shows how many hits a mob still needs before it drops.
Who it’s for: Players who want to see mob health during survival fights and farming. The mod is client-side, so it is useful for players on any server that does not run it.
