Mob Drops Recipes [Nether]

by Lupin

Mob Drops Recipes [Nether] lets players craft items that hostile mobs in the Nether normally drop, using common materials or a new essence of the Nether.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20 – 1.21.1

What it does

The mod adds crafting recipes for items that hostile Nether mobs otherwise drop. Players who use modpacks that remove certain enemies, or who want those resources without farming, can craft them directly. Two recipe routes exist: one uses common Minecraft materials, and the other uses a new item called the essence of the Nether.

Alongside the drop recipes, the mod extends slab crafting. Slabs can be made from many different building blocks, and new varieties appear as a result, such as wooden tiles and tiles made from mineral blocks.

The mod requires MonoLib. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20 – 1.21.1 under All rights reserved. It is not open source. Servers and players both have to run it.

Key features

  1. Drop crafting recipes

Items that normally come only from hostile mob kills can be crafted from ordinary materials.

  2. Essence of the Nether route

A new essence of the Nether item provides a second crafting path for the same drops.

  3. Expanded slab recipes

Slabs can be crafted from many building blocks, adding new variants to the slab set.

  4. New tile varieties

Wooden tiles and tiles made from mineral blocks are added as new building options.

What the author says

Now you can craft drops from hostile mobs in the Nether! Basically, the mod allows you to craft all the items that can only be obtained by killing a hostile mob. This is ideal for all those thematic modpacks that eliminate certain enemies, or simply to facilitate obtaining these much-needed resources in the game.
