MezzConfigGUI

by mezz

With MezzConfigGUI, a player opens a client-side config screen for any mod that registers its settings with MezzConfig, and edits them in a window instead of a text file.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient or server, optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 26.3

What it does

The screen reads config schemas that other mods register with MezzConfig, so one interface covers all of them. Common value types such as numbers, text, booleans and lists can be changed from the screen. Additional screen customization is available through an API for mod authors. Installation needs Fabric API and MezzConfig, and the mod is released under the MIT License as open source. Files cover 1.19.2 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and either side can run it without the other.

Key features

  1. Config screen for registered mods

Settings from mods that use MezzConfig appear in one screen, so players need not open separate files.

  2. Editing common value types

Numbers, text, booleans and similar values can be changed directly in the window.

  3. Screen customization API

Mod authors can adjust how their config screen looks through an API provided by the mod.
