Whenever a Thaumcraft infusion matrix or a Thaumic Horizons vat matrix finishes a recipe, a chime sounds for the player.

What it does

The mod watches for a finished recipe in the infusion matrix and in the modified vat matrix added by Thaumic Horizons, then plays a sound. Thaumic Horizons is an optional dependency, so the sound for vat matrices only appears when that mod is present. Each of the two completion sounds can be switched off in the configuration without affecting the other.

This is a small client-side mod for Minecraft 1.7.10 on Forge, so only the player's client needs it and servers run without it. UniMixins is a required dependency. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, is not open source, and its source code is public.

    A sound plays as soon as a matching infusion or vat matrix finishes crafting, signalling that the result is ready.

  2. Randomized wand sounds

    The Thaumcraft completion sound picks one of the wand1, wand2 or wand3 variants at random each time.

    Each sound's pitch varies within a range the player sets, with separate minimum and maximum values.

  4. Separate toggles

    Players can switch the sound for each matrix type on or off on its own, leaving the other untouched.
