Soulbound Enchantment adds an enchantment that returns the item to the player after death, and it can be obtained from enchanting, loot chests and villager trades.

What it does

An item carrying the Soulbound enchantment comes back to the player when they die. The enchantment can be found through the enchantment table, in loot chests and through trading with villagers. The mod works with Graves and is compatible with data packs. With the doImmediateRespawn gamerule set to true, respawning is not delayed. Because the server must run it, the server owner installs the mod there, while players can join without it. Files target 1.21 – 26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later, so the source is open.
