Lucky Block
by zodiuss
Lucky Block adds a block that drops a random reward when broken, recreating the classic Lucky Block idea for modern versions.
What it does
Breaking a Lucky Block releases one of more than 100 drops, ranging from harmless items and overpowered gear to explosions, traps with anvils, lava or water, wishing wells, and animals such as sheep, wolves and cats. Villagers with custom trades are part of the pool as well, so a single block can turn an ordinary session into a short event.
The author states that the project is unofficial and not affiliated with the original creators. Addons add further Lucky Block types: each addon is a .zip placed in the .minecraft/addons folder, and players can also create their own addons. Fabric API is required on both loaders.
Lucky Block is published for Fabric and NeoForge, for 1.21.1 and 26.2, and is open source under the MIT License. Both the client and the server need it, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
