Loot Bundles

by EnderBoy

Loot Bundles adds nine themed bundle items to Fabric worlds for Minecraft 1.20.1, each one dropped by a particular mob or found in a particular structure.

FabricClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

Each bundle is tied to a source in the game. The Ancient bundle comes from wardens, the Brute bundle from piglin brutes, the Nether bundle from the wither boss and the Oceanic bundle from elder guardians. Other bundles can be found in end cities, dungeons and pillager outposts, and the Wandering bundle comes from wandering traders. The Monsterous bundle is the one that zombies carry.

The mod depends on Trinkets, which must be installed alongside it on Fabric. ToolTipFix is optional and only affects how item tooltips are displayed. Loot Bundles is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The only Fabric file is 1.0.2 for 1.20.1, published on 2024-06-10, and that date is also when the mod first appeared and was last updated.

Key features

  1. Nine themed bundles

The mod adds nine bundles, each with its own name and source, from the Ancient bundle to the Wandering bundle.

  3. Structure loot

Bundles are also placed in structures such as end cities, dungeons and pillager outposts for players to find while exploring.

  4. Extra damage against illagers

Certain bundle contents add extra damage against illagers, and a pillage bundle can reach a maximum enchantment level of 5.

Guardian Expansion is a Fabric mod for 1.20.1 that is client and server and is open source under the MIT License, so it differs from Loot Bundles on the license. Oceanic sword remastered covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.8 on Fabric and Forge, which is wider than the single version Loot Bundles supports.
