Loaf Cats adds cute loaf cats to the world, each one a tameable mob that spawns in different biomes and can be put into a relaxed sitting pose.
What it does
Loaf Cats spawns twelve types of cat, each tied to a particular biome, so exploring different terrain reveals new variants. Once a cat is tamed, right-clicking it switches it into Loaf Mode, where it sits down in a loaf position. A tamed cat stays close to its owner, and the more affectionate it becomes, the more likely it is to purr and give healing effects. A Loaf Cat can also be made to cuddle its owner and sleep in a bed while in Loaf Mode.
Taming uses Cat Treat, and a damaged cat is healed by feeding it Cat Food. Two Loaf Cats can be bred with Catnip, a flower that grows in a few forested and grassland terrains. The mod carries sound effects taken from recordings of a cat named Bean. Forge is the only loader it is published for, and it requires GeckoLib for Forge 1.20.1 to be installed alongside it. The files target 1.20.1 alone, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
