Let Your Friend Eating! lets a player right-click another player holding food to feed them directly, passing along the food's hunger and saturation effects.
What it does
Feeding another player takes one right-click while holding food. The target consumes the item and receives the same hunger, saturation and food effects the item would give its eater. Sounds and particles accompany each feeding, and a cooldown keeps the mechanic from being repeated instantly.
The mod is a small social mechanic for survival worlds, adventure maps and multiplayer servers, where players can share food without dropping it on the ground. Cloth Config API is required, and Mod Menu is optional for opening its settings screen. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, Babric and NilLoader, across 55 release versions b1.7.3 – 26.2, and the code is released under All rights reserved.

Player feeding
Right-clicking another player while holding food feeds that player directly, with no need to drop or hand over the item.
Effects transfer
The target receives the food's hunger, saturation and status effects, so the feeding works as a normal meal.
Audio and particle feedback
Each feeding plays a sound and shows particle effects, so both players see that it happened.
Cooldown and statistics
A cooldown limits how often a player can feed others, and feeding statistics are recorded for the player.
Toggle controls
Feeding can be switched on or off in the settings, so players can disable the mechanic.

How it compares
Let Me Feed You! is a Forge and NeoForge mod that also feeds other players, released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and open source, for 1.19.2 – 1.21.4. InstantEat is another Forge and NeoForge option with a different feeding approach, not open source and covering 1.12.2 – 26.1.2. Auto Eat is client-side only, not open source and works on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, so it changes only the player's own eating.
