Legacy Console World Sizer
by Subzer0_
Legacy Console World Sizer lets players pick a finite world size when they create a new world through Legacy4J's world creation menu.
What it does
Finite world sizes inspired by the classic console editions are offered in a console-style Special Worlds screen, with Small extending 512 blocks from the center, Classic 864 blocks and Large 5,120 blocks. Players who choose a finite size get Minecraft's native world border centered on 0 0, which avoids continuously scanning and generating chunks. The default modern world remains available without a practical border.
The add-on is an unofficial companion to Legacy4J and needs Fabric API, Factory API and Legacy4J to run. Selecting Superflat opens Legacy4J's customization screen for layers, biomes, structures and presets. The mod is licensed under the MIT License and is not open source. Files exist for 1.21.10 and 1.21.11, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest Fabric file. It runs on client and server.
Key features
Finite world sizes
Small, Classic and Large sizes give a world a fixed boundary inspired by classic console editions.
Native world border
Finite worlds use Minecraft's own world border centered on 0 0, so no extra tracking runs while the map loads.
Safe spawn placement
A new world moves the first player to a safe surface near 0 0, searching past water, foliage or terrain at the exact center.
Translations
The mod ships 143 language codes for Minecraft 1.21.10, with English as the fallback for any mod-specific name lacking a translation.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who create singleplayer or integrated-server worlds with Legacy4J and want console-inspired world sizes. Server owners can use the same setup for new worlds, since the mod works alongside Legacy4J's creation menu.
How it compares
Console Sounds is a client-side only Fabric mod under the MIT License, open source and published for 1.19.3 – 1.21.11, so it changes audio and not world size. ShadowBorders is a server-side only Fabric mod under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, not open source, covering 1.21 – 1.21.8, and it manages world borders on the server. Legacy World Sizes is open source under the MIT License, client and server, and targets Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 26.1.2, but it is not built on the same creation menu.
