Leashed Teleport
by SwordfishBE
Leashed Teleport lets players move leashed animals and other leashed mobs along with them when they teleport, through ender pearls, chorus fruit and teleport commands.
What it does
Leashed Teleport brings leashed entities along when the player teleports, using ender pearls, chorus fruit or the vanilla /tp command. Mobs leashed within a configured radius follow the player. Tamed animals such as dogs, cats and horses are moved only when the teleporting player owns them, so animals tamed by other players stay behind. Sitting entities that are leashed to the player are included too. Leashed mobs can cross dimensions between the Overworld, the Nether and the End when the cross-dimension option is switched on, and a blacklist keeps out particular mobs, such as animals that are oversized or too risky to take along.
Damage Resistance V and Slow Falling are granted to anything that gets teleported, lasting for a length the config controls, which lets the creature absorb the impact when it touches down. A destination outside the world border is handled, and the leashed entities are moved there safely. Cross-dimension travel and the other teleport behavior can be switched off in the toggleable configuration.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. It requires Fabric API and is published for Fabric only, with files for 1.21.11 and 26.1 – 26.3, the latest being 1.1.9 for 26.3. The code is under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source.
Key features
Leashed mobs follow
Leashed mobs within the configured radius are carried along when the player uses an ender pearl or chorus fruit.
Ownership check
Tamed animals are teleported only when the teleporting player owns them, so other players' pets are left behind.
Fall damage protection
Anything carried through a teleport is given Damage Resistance V along with Slow Falling for a span the server operator can adjust, so the fall does not finish it off.
Blacklist and dimensions
A blacklist excludes chosen mobs, and entities can optionally follow across the Overworld, Nether and End.

How it compares
Leash Villager is server-side only, under All rights reserved, with files for 1.21.9 – 26.3. EntityPearl is server-side only and open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.21.10 – 26.3, so it covers the ender pearl without the leashed mob handling. Laps' Chorus Pearl is client and server, under All rights reserved, and targets 26.2 only, so both sides must run it.
