Labelling Containers
by Infinituum17
Labelling Containers lets players attach a text label and an icon to chests, shulker boxes, barrels and other containers, so that storage is easier to tell apart.
What it does
A label printer item sets the label and icon of the container a player selects. Labelled blocks can be added to or removed from the mod's config, and a bell block can be configured to show labels when a player's hand holds it. Setting label and icon block coordinates is also possible through the config.
The mod works in multiplayer, and labels are shared by everyone on a server that runs it. Setting a label needs admin permissions. Each player can set their own HUD position, with positions such as center-right as the default and left as an option. Architectury API, Fabric API and Fast Config API are required dependencies, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Files target Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.18.2 – 1.21.8, released under a custom license and not open source.

Use cases
Sorting a storage room
Labels and icons make it clear which chest holds which items when many containers sit side by side.
Shared server bases
Admins and players on a multiplayer server can mark shared storage so that everyone finds the same items.
Who it’s for: Players who keep many containers in one base, and server owners who want shared storage clearly marked for everyone.
