by Kerilom

Immersive Stamina adds a stamina bar that sprinting, jumping, and mining drain, with Forge and NeoForge builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Stamina is spent when a player sprints, jumps, breaks a block, hits an entity, or lands a critical hit, and sprinting and jumping cost more than other actions. Stamina recovers over time, so a player who keeps moving has to slow down to refill it.

Leggings enchanted with Endurance reduce how much stamina running, jumping, and using tools consumes, and tools enchanted with Efficiency also lower the cost of working with them. The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge only. Builds cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The code is under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.

The author notes that compatibility with Combat Roll is planned, and that Vic's Point Blank is listed as compatible. Enchantment support is described as not yet finished. Check the source repository for the current state before relying on either.

Key features

  1. Sprint and jump costs

Sprinting and jumping drain stamina faster than walking, so long runs have a visible cost.

  2. Action-based drain

Breaking blocks and hitting or critically striking entities also spend stamina, tying combat and mining into the system.

  3. Endurance leggings

Leggings enchanted with Endurance reduce stamina spent while running, jumping, and using tools.

  4. Efficiency on tools

Tools enchanted with Efficiency lower the stamina cost of the actions they perform.

What the author says

There is no compatibility with Combat Roll for now, but once I add it, compatibility will be better. There are no enchantments here yet, either. And for now, this is only for Forge.
