Keep Head Names
by Fourmisain
Keep Head Names stops player heads from losing their display names and lore tags when they are placed and picked up again.
What it does
A player head keeps its custom name and lore after it is set down as a block and collected again, so a renamed head stays renamed. The server must run the mod, while players may add it without harm. Files exist for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 40 release versions, 1.16 – 26.3, and Fabric API is required on Fabric builds.
Key features
Name retention
Display names given to player heads remain on the head after it is placed and picked up.
Lore tag retention
Lore text attached to a player head is kept through the same place-and-pickup cycle.
Server-hosted behavior
The server needs the mod for the behavior to apply, and clients may leave it out and still join.
