Joy Plus adds four armor sets, a magma sword and a magma ball item to Fabric for Minecraft 1.21.7 – 1.21.10, aimed at late-game survival progression.
What it does
Joy Plus introduces a set of crafted equipment that sits between vanilla diamond and netherite gear. Four armor sets are included: Ocearm, built around diamonds, hearts and sea-themed treasure, and Ancient Chain, made from chainmail, sit beside a netherite-tier set and an Orpin set. The Orpin set is only obtainable by server administrators through creative means, so it works as event rewards and bragging rights rather than a regular goal.
The magma sword is a crafted weapon with high damage and quick strikes, which suits player versus player fights and boss encounters. It is made from a new magma ball, which combines two fire charges with magma cream. The rest of the progression keeps the vanilla feel, adding more ways to gather resources and more things to show off on multiplayer worlds.
The mod runs on Fabric only, and it has to be installed on both the server and every player's client. Builds cover 1.21.7 – 1.21.10, and the latest file is 1.3.0 for 1.21.10, released under the MIT License. The evolvex team has said that more loader support may follow depending on demand.
