JerkSteve, a Cursed mod by L33tfox, adds a viral meme character who follows players and disrupts them in a range of ways.
What it does
The character hunts the nearest player and keeps following until that player dies or he is removed. His attacks include throwing snowballs, mining blocks out from under a player and reacting to levers, buttons and bow shots. He is summoned by placing a camera that is crafted from four iron ingots, one diamond, one observer and one glass pane.
The mod is intended for servers and clients that both run it, since the environment is client and server. It targets Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1, and its files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Fabric builds need Forgified Fabric API and Sinytra Connector for Forge and NeoForge, so both dependencies are named as required installs.
The license is All rights reserved and the project is not open source, although source code is available through public links. The first release, 1.0.0 for 1.21.1, appeared on 2025-04-24, the same day it was last updated.
