Item Wallet
by Feytox
Item Wallet lets players carry currency items in a wallet, with blocks that store and count coins, for Fabric in 1.18.2 – 1.20.1.
What it does
Currency items such as diamonds, emeralds and copper coins are counted by the wallet instead of filling inventory slots. A player can also convert stored value between denominations, so stacks of smaller items can be exchanged for larger ones. Stone, deepslate and the other ores supply their own corresponding blocks, letting players compact currency into storage.
The mod suits survival worlds where players trade goods or keep a bank of valuables. A configuration screen exposes counter position and other options. Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu is optional for opening the settings. Cloth Config API is bundled inside the mod, so nothing extra is needed for the options screen.
Item Wallet is client-side only, so servers run without it and players alone install it. The mod is published for Fabric across 8 release versions and is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Currency counting
Diamonds, emeralds, gold, iron and other currency items are tallied by the wallet instead of taking up separate slots.
Compact storage blocks
Each supported currency gets a matching block, so a stack of coins can be stored as one placeable item.
Ore and deepslate blocks
Stone and deepslate ore variants give players a source of compact currency blocks that fit the vanilla ore set.
Counter position settings
The on-screen counter can be moved and its display customized through the configuration options.
Unit transfer
Value can be moved between denominations, so smaller currency items can be exchanged for larger units.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who want a currency system on Fabric, and map makers who run economy-based adventures, will find the wallet useful.
How it compares
Villagers-Follow-Emeralds-Fabric is server-side only and open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.16.5 – 1.19. Item Wallet is client-side only and covers 1.18.2 – 1.20.1, so the two overlap on 1.18.2 – 1.19 but differ on which side needs the mod. TNTCart Counter is client-side only and open source under the MIT License, but targets 1.21.4 – 26.2, so it does not share a version range with Item Wallet.
