Iam Music Player Renewed revives a music player mod, with a portable player, cassette tapes and a Music Manager for playlists.

What it does

The mod is a renewed build of the Iam Music Player mod. It adds a portable music player that plays tapes and streaming music, a Cassette Deck that plays and manages cassette tapes, and a Parabolic Antenna item for listening to music without tapes. Glass tapes hold one song each, which lets players build custom collections, and the Music Manager handles playlists and songs.

Both client and server need the mod. Architectury API, Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Otyacraft Engine Renewed are required dependencies, and Sound Physics Remastered is optional. Special Model Loader is bundled inside the mod. Files cover 1.18.2 – 1.21.1, with 1.20.1 as the latest version on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.

The NetEase Cloud integration was removed, because NetEase Cloud took down the library the integration used. The relay server is working again, so the remaining features are unaffected. The mod is incompatible with Labelling Containers.
